I've mentioned this before, but until you've been in the Pilbara or the Kimberley, you haven't truly seen the infamous item that's often in the BOM forecasts at this time of the year - "Isolated Thunderstorms".

Well, here are two shots of just a beast today, sunny all around & 42c+. This one was accompanied by some pretty significant lightning, but it was directed at the mountain in the distance :shock: No hints as to location, see if anyone knows where it is (and not if you live there):

Yes, I remember 'isolated thunderstorms'. They really do seem to come out of nowhere.
