It's pouring down with rain with a bit of hail at the moment, it's also quite windy too.

Had some hail ~10am in Canning Vale that interrupted our weekly meeting, everyone was too busy looking out the window ;)
Just had some light hail here at home a min ago, couldn't see it on the ground but could hear it against the kitchen window.

Did you catch the pre-season show too? It's out there as 'S05E00 Greatest Storms'
Sounds like it'll be a best-of, kinda like ep9 of season 4 was.
I haven't watched them yet (will after dinner), just saw your post and thought I'd give ya the heads-up incase you missed it.

Never actually saw any lightning myself but the tracker showed it right over the top of town, they must of copped there. Conditions are easing here now, just windy and cold. 9.9 degrees at my place, 9.6 degrees at the airport with an App temp of 7.4 degrees. Had thunder and light hail around lunch time, and just brief light hail occasionally this arvo and evening. Can't wait for warmer days. :)

The wind must have been really strong during the 3:30pm weather at my place because the wind managed to blew my bin over!

Had a great view this arvo of a hail shaft behind a big cell. The rain all grey and amid that the stark white hail dropping down. Rainbow (single rainbow (-| ) out to the South. Again some lovely outflow up top of the Cb
Could I get a pic? No :(
