Nice shots, you can see how it froths and boils. I've been under wall clouds before. It's an unnerving experience. Different from just any ol' cloud and not really the place to be standing (or driving)!!

Saw the funnel photo on Perth Weather Live. Interesting. I couldn't tell the difference between a funnel/scud off a photo to be honest, but someone mentioned rotation on the radar, which means it must've been a confirmed funnel. It's probably not that there are more of them appearing, it's that every man and his dog :o3 has a camera phone and social media and twitter, so there are more confirmed reports of them.

My area apparently got a lot of rain on ... Sunday night ... I think it was? Losing track of the day. Got woken by a gigantic thunderclap and some rain but the rain didn't seem like the downpour it apparently was.

And whadya mean chilly (unless you're inland or south)?! It was beautiful this morning!

from the BoM @ Albany airport
temp in Albany got down to about 13 degrees here overnight
mostly cloudy today - temps got up to 17 - 18 degrees, getting SW winds around 20 - 25 km/hr

Not sure if people saw this, a colleague just showed me before. There was a waterspout on Sat 9th March near Rottnest Island

Some great photos there Brayden.
Thanks for sharing them with us :)

Here is the radar loop from Saturday:

Not much of note there at all.

Sunday has more of a better match to the weather. He says in the blog that they head there but return and then stay a night so it could have been on the 10th or 11th?

Rainmaker tells us it was Monday morning about 7:40am. That points the finger at that cell we were all watching.

Awesome photos there, makes you wonder how many waterspouts go unseen!

Looking wet tomorrow, not sure about storms however.
